This condition of mine
Let me tell
you a story
About me
and rhyming
Hope it
won’t be boring
If so then
I’m sorry xD
‘Tis quite
unusual deal
That on
this verses I break a seal
Between
reason and stupidity
Between
what’s not and what’s real
Yet I can
only attain this stunt
If I meet a
special condition
A mind once
sharp turns blunt
Might even
lose all my intuition
There are
moments of joy
Beyond any description
And so they
destroy
Every competition
A lot of
questions you may ask
What lies
under this wretched mask
And what
sorcery is this??
Will I be
cursed with a longed kiss..?
Curse this
condition of mine
Yes the one
making me rhyme!
That
disease called love my dear
I only wish
you could be here.

Thought of the day

Wherever you are, whatever your objectives are, never forget what you are here for:
"Never forget to be happy!"

"Sally forth you weaver of wonder, sower of silken waves."
I recently became familiar with a site, that is shouting out "Share me!":
(Thank you for sharing Josh!)
My advice is - try it out, and allow yourself to become wordless as I did.
Only by making two traces across the screen with your mouse, you will be able create the most amazing images. Together with the soothing background sounds, this site makes a perfect solution for
some minutes of relaxation,
whenever you feel tired, stressed or anxious.
You can try using different colors for your traces by going to the left menu and clicking "Controls".
After clicking controls you will notice that you can change the way you "weave" your image. Try out different symmetries, or if you wish to draw freely, drag the symmetry bar to left to "No rotational symmetry", and turn both "Mirror" and "Spiral" options Off.
The fullscreen option is also available, along with the possiblity of saving the picture when you are done!
To quickly begin from the start press the Spacebar, and to erase your last step press Z. You can also mix two colors by clicking one color circle and dragging your mouse to the color circle you want to mix it with. (Thank you for letting me know Gabriel!)
Here are some of the images I effortlessly obtained.

What a great day...for experiences!
I've decided to edit a picture taken by me in the park last year. It's amazing how many different emotions one single image can transfer after applying some changes using an image editing software (I used Photoshop 7).
Turning Summer into Fall.
And why not into Spring?
How about a walk under the moonlight?
Let's make a sketch....
The original picture, straight out of the camera. Since I'm not a professional photographer, it does not have a very good quality...but let's see what we can do with it! : )
After slightly increasing the contrast and lowering the brightness.
After "playing" with the color curves for a while and taking some advice from some very useful pages around the web, I've managed to get many different looks from the retouched image.
And why not into Spring?
How about a walk under the moonlight?
Let's make a sketch....
....and colour it!
This one looks like it was inside that old dusty box that one keeps under his/her bed : )
On a side note... If so much can be done with a simple picture, and an untrained mind, doesn't that make you wonder what could be done, with better means and skills?
....
I believe the right question is : "What can NOT be done?"

Enjoy the silence
The days
are now beginning to invite you to take a wider look outside. Wherever you are (at work, at school, at
home, etc.) step outside for a moment.
Enjoy the light.
The warmth.
The wind.
The warmth.
The wind.
Enjoy the sole act of breathing.
Allow yourself to simply live in this moment.
Time will not stop its
flow, but it’s how we use it that matters the most.
If for some
reason you are not able to sleep during the night, why not take a chance and
let nature give you a hand? Go to your
window, balcony, or if you feel the need to, be bold enough to even go outside.
Open your mind
and
listen
to the silence.
Observe the city lights… Emerge into the details of the landscape. Realize how everything is moving at a slower
rate during the night.
How much
time did you take to look at the sky in the past few months? Do you remember
how the moon looks like?
My last message for today is : Don’t let
standards condition the only thing that is truly and unchangeably yours. Your
life.

The story of your life
Writing a
diary might seem something that we only do when we are younger, but I was
surprised by how therapeutic it can be. It might also be useful for remembering
important events or dates.
Why not
letting some of your thoughts jump into paper (or a digital pageJ)? Maybe you’ll be as surprised as I
was, to find out that thoughts do have weight, and how much lighter you can feel
after taking some minutes of your day to do this.

Lights of Hope
Tonight we recall our hopes and wishes.
Health....
Happiness....
Wealth....
Be better...
Do greater...
Overcome myself...
Happy New Year!
Health....
Happiness....
Wealth....
Be better...
Do greater...
Overcome myself...
We all want to see that bright light of hope in the sky. To each one of us it confides, wispering secretly in a language only you know: "Your wish will come true".
All of these thoughts go by in only those 3 last seconds, and somewhere in between, there is still time left for uncertainty to briefly cross your mind: "But... Will I have what it takes to make my wishes come true?..."
Please note: I'm not the author of this drawing. Edited in Photoshop 7 by blending two pictures together.
Be everything you want to be.
Don't push your eyes searching for that light out there, in the endless blue. Look for it right there, inside of you. The light switches might not work, yet you'll be surprised about the amount of matches and candles you can find ... : )

"Making of" part II
Another sequence of drawings, following the idea of the last post. This one had to be posted here, since this was the character that "gave me" one of my nicknames (the original character from the anime and manga is not owned by me).

Based on Inuyasha anime and manga series.

"Making of"
In some drawings I like to keep record of the progress as I finish them. It's always interesting to look back at the original or previous ones. Here's one I drew a few years back (Renamon from Digimon 03).
